The world’s first¹ strong hybrid² motorcycle is taking the streets by storm, combining a 451cc internal combustion engine and a compact electric traction motor. This supernaked offers plenty of new riding experiences with the instant acceleration of a 1,000cc-class supersport model from a standing start (with e-boost), fuel economy similar to smaller displacement models, and button-shift sport riding.
Inspired by conventional sport motorcycle chassis design, all the components of the hybrid power unit (ICE, traction motor, battery pack, ISG) are carefully arranged in a lightweight trellis frame to achieve the light, nimble handling that Kawasaki sport motorcycles are known for.
